About
A studio of one, building like a team.
I'm John I, the person behind Itto Labs. I've spent years building and shipping SaaS the whole way through — from the first database migration to the production deploy and everything between.
Itto Labs is two things at once, weighted equally. It's where I build my own products, like TEK. And it's how startups hire me to build theirs. The two feed each other: running my own product keeps me honest about the kind of system I'm asking clients to trust me with.
Working with one person who owns the entire stack means no translation loss between design, frontend, backend, and infrastructure. You get something real in production, fast — and a clear handover when it's time for your team to take the wheel.
How I work
Ship small, ship often
Weekly increments you can see and react to, not a big reveal at the end. Course corrections are cheap when they happen early.
Own the whole stack
Design, frontend, backend, infrastructure — no handoff gaps where things get lost or watered down.
Boring where it counts
Proven tools and clear architecture for the parts that have to be reliable. Save the novelty for the product, not the plumbing.
Leave it maintainable
Documented, typed, and handed over so your team can run with it. The goal is your independence, not my retainer.
